This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, nor does it share information with third parties for those purposes. That is why we do not show a cookie consent banner.

The only cookie: the private area

The private area uses one technical cookie, and it is only set if you sign in there. If you never do, this site leaves no cookie in your browser at all.

In addition:

• It carries none of your data. It is a random identifier; only our server knows what it means.
• It is marked HttpOnly (page JavaScript cannot read it), Secure (it never travels outside HTTPS) and SameSite=Lax (it is not sent when the request comes from another website).
• Even if you do not close your browser, the session expires on the server: 6 hours after you signed in, or after 30 minutes of inactivity.
• Selecting Sign out deletes it both in your browser and on our server.

This cookie is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for by identifying yourself, so electronic privacy rules do not require prior consent to set it. Without it, the private area cannot work.

What we store on our side about that session is described in the privacy policy.

Technical storage

To remember your theme preference (light or dark) we store a small value in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). This storage:

• is strictly functional and results from an action you take;
• stays on your device and does not send us any information;
• does not require consent under electronic privacy rules.

You can delete it at any time from your browser options (clear browsing data / site storage).

Changes

If we introduce analytics or other tools that use cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your prior consent.
